Oh SH#T !!!!! That's right up above here. YIKES. I have always just presumed they are out there, even though no one seemed to want to believe it. I saw one over in Grant County a few years back at dusk. Luckily it was on the other side of the creek. It took off into the woods with out even making a sound. Gone as quick as fast as can be. The farmer told me he had seen them before too which confirmed the fact that I am always weary and head on a swivel when I'm out in the night. Tight lInes.
Funny you mention that Cougar out in Grant County. Was that about 10-12 years ago? We lease hunting land out there and the Blue River runs through a portion of it. About 10 years ago a DNR employee was on our property (I believe he was looking at HR work for the stream) and reported seeing one cross the valley in from of him. Locals have stories about the "Cougars of Castle Rock". MaGee we will have to get out fishing next year sometime. The Photos you take are UNREAL!! Good work!
Yup, definitely a substantial sized Cat there. Beware my friend!
ReplyDeletei find big cats really cool... when they arent in the woods with me...
